The Message of Christmas
'The Message of Christmas' is an immersive installation for Cartier designed by Mikhaila Wyatt, for Studio Marcel Van Doorn, and produced by Art Bridge, Paris.
The design was unveiled at 13 rue de la Paix, Paris, within the historic salon of Cartier's most legendary Artistic Director, Jeanne Toussaint, the 'woman who revolutionized contemporary jewelry'.
Precious golds, lights and music adorn the atmosphere and, inspired by abstract musical notation, fragment like an enthralling array of floating chimes in space: illusory, delicate and dreamlike.
An enchanting musical composition by Christophe Chassol floods the space through carefully positioned speakers and textures to form a binaural sonic experience.
From the sculptural seating to the gilded shards, every element has been meticulously designed to create a surreal and sensory harmony, indulging the visitor totally into the world of Cartier.
